1. Purpose

This disclaimer explains the limits of education, career, funding, eligibility and placement information provided by Pathway Select, including information produced through Morrow.

2. Independent service

Pathway Select is an independent education pathway guidance and referral service. Unless expressly stated, it is not a registered training organisation, university, TAFE, school, government agency, employer, professional registration body, migration adviser, financial adviser or legal adviser.

Pathway Select does not issue qualifications or make official enrolment, funding, licensing, placement, employment or immigration decisions.

3. Course information can change

Qualification status, course availability, campus locations, online delivery, intakes, duration, timetables, entry requirements, work-placement hours, fees and provider arrangements can change without immediate notice to Pathway Select.

We may use authoritative and provider sources, but data can be delayed, incomplete or interpreted incorrectly. The National Training Register and the relevant provider should be checked for current nationally recognised training information.

4. Funding information is indicative

Funding programs and eligibility rules can change and may depend on your state or territory, citizenship or residency category, age, prior study, course history, commencement date, provider allocation, available places and other circumstances.

Pathway Select may identify possible funding pathways, but only the responsible provider or government authority can confirm whether you qualify and what contribution or fees apply.

5. “Free” and “subsidised” course claims

A course described as “free”, “fee-free” or “subsidised” may still involve costs, including materials, equipment, uniforms, checks, licences, transport, placement expenses, student services, repeat assessments or other charges.

Funding may cover tuition only, may be capped, may be unavailable at a particular provider or intake, or may affect future entitlement. Obtain a complete written fee statement and funding assessment before enrolling.

6. Eligibility tools

Eligibility tools and questionnaires provide an initial indication based on the answers supplied and the rules represented in our system. They are not an approval, legal determination or binding funding assessment.

Incorrect, incomplete or changed information can alter the result. A provider may apply additional evidence requirements or interpret a rule differently based on official guidance.

7. Career and occupation information

Occupation descriptions, demand indicators, salary ranges, job-growth information and career outcomes are general. Labour markets vary by location, employer, economic conditions, experience, licences, personal circumstances and timing.

Pathway Select does not guarantee that completing a course will result in employment, a particular salary, preferred hours, career advancement or ongoing demand.

8. Entry, literacy and suitability

Providers may assess language, literacy, numeracy, digital skills, physical requirements, suitability, prior education or other entry conditions. A pathway suggested by Pathway Select may not be appropriate for every person.

Some roles involve emotionally or physically demanding work, personal care, vulnerable people, shift work or regulated responsibilities. Consider the real work environment as well as course entry.

9. Work placement

Many community services, care and early-childhood qualifications include mandatory workplace learning. Placement hours, host standards, supervision, checks, vaccination or health requirements, travel and scheduling vary.

Pathway Select does not guarantee a placement host, date, location or completion outcome. The education provider remains responsible for confirming that a placement satisfies course requirements.

10. Checks, licences and professional requirements

Work or placement may require police checks, Working with Children Checks, NDIS Worker Screening, immunisation evidence, first aid, licences, professional registration or other evidence. Requirements differ by occupation, organisation and jurisdiction and may change.

Before enrolling, ask the provider and relevant regulator whether any personal history, health issue or other circumstance could affect placement, registration or employment.

11. Immigration and migration matters

Pathway Select does not provide immigration assistance or migration advice and does not assess visa eligibility or migration points. Course selection can have legal and financial consequences for visa holders and international students.

Obtain advice from an appropriately authorised professional and verify information with the Department of Home Affairs where immigration status or migration outcomes are relevant.

12. Provider information and comparisons

Provider listings, comparisons and recommendations may not include every provider. Availability and ranking can reflect relevance, stated preferences, data quality, service coverage and commercial relationships.

A listed or referred provider is responsible for its own marketing, training, assessment, fees, student support, complaints and regulatory compliance.

13. What to confirm before enrolling

Before signing or paying, obtain current written confirmation of:

  • the legal provider and RTO details;
  • qualification code and current registration status;
  • full fees, funding and possible future entitlement effects;
  • delivery mode, timetable, duration and attendance expectations;
  • work-placement hours, support and host arrangements;
  • equipment, travel, checks and additional costs;
  • entry, language, licensing and registration requirements;
  • withdrawal, deferral, cancellation and refund terms; and
  • the exact qualification or statement issued on completion.

14. No substitute for professional advice

Pathway Select information is not legal, financial, medical, psychological, migration or regulated professional advice. Seek an appropriately qualified adviser where your decision involves those matters.

15. Corrections

If you identify inaccurate or outdated information, contact support@pathwayselect.com.au and provide the relevant page, statement and supporting source where available.
